Type of Activity: An inter-departmental brand quiz competition was organised by the Department of Business Administration of The Bhawanipur Education Society College. The competition focused on brand awareness, logo identification, advertising knowledge and brand-related cross word puzzle.

Details of Resource Persons: The competition was organised and coordinated by Mrs. Kiran Punit Mohanty and Mr. Souvik Sardar, the faculty members of the Department of Business Administration.

Objective of the Event: The event was organised to enhance students’ awareness and knowledge of well-known brands and advertising. It aimed to develop observation skills, quick thinking, brand recognition, teamwork and familiarity with branding and marketing concepts through an engaging competitive format.
Brief Description of the Event: The competition consisted of two main rounds followed by a bonus round. Round 1, “Caught in 4k”, tested participants’ ability to identify brands from their logos. Round 2, “Jumble Jungle”, challenged teams to solve crossword clues related to brands, products, founders, and advertising. The Bonus Round, “taglines”, featured questions related to brand’s taglines. The rounds were designed to combine knowledge, speed, observation and teamwork in an interactive quiz format.
Outcome of the Event: The AD MAD quiz competition was successfully conducted with active participation and enthusiasm from the participating departments. The event provided students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge of branding and advertising in a fun and competitive environment. It also encouraged teamwork, quick decision-making and greater awareness of brands and their association with advertising and entrepreneurship. From total 5 participating groups (each group with 5 members), we got our winner, 1st runner up, and 2nd runner up group.
