As part of the Campus Workshop series, The Bhawanipur Education Society College, in collaboration with GenAIUS, organised a workshop titled “Learn to Build Your First AI Agent” on 25th June 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Society Hall.

The workshop was facilitated by Mr Suman Mukherjee, a UN Honorary Speaker with over 17 years of experience in analytics, modelling, applied machine learning, and emerging AI technologies. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at globally renowned organisations such as HSBC, ICRA, Nielsen, Northern Trust, Accenture, and UBS. A respected thought leader, he has delivered keynote addresses at more than ten international conferences across Europe, chaired two global conferences, and presented his vision for AI at prestigious institutions, including the United Nations. Most recently, he addressed the United Nations in Vienna on building National AI Ecosystems in the Global South, advocating AI sovereignty and inclusive access to transformative technologies.

Mr Mukherjee introduced the audience to GenAIUS Cloud, an AI workflow automation platform that enables users to build intelligent AI agents with minimal technical setup. Comparing it with platforms such as n8n, he explained that while traditional workflow automation requires manual configuration of APIs, vector databases, connectors, and AI models, GenAIUS Cloud integrates these components into a single platform.

An engaging demonstration featured an AI-powered credit card recommendation system, where users entered details such as occupation, salary range, CIBIL score, age, and spending habits. Based on this information, the platform matched the users’ profiles with the eligibility criteria and policies of multiple banks to recommend the most suitable credit card.

Mr Mukherjee also highlighted several ready-to-use AI workflows available on the platform, including legal document analysis, case summarisation, personalised health insurance planning, matrimonial case history reviews, and various AI-driven business decision-support systems.

The interactive workshop provided students with valuable insights into the practical applications of AI and inspired them to explore emerging technologies beyond the classroom.

Overall, the workshop proved to be an enriching learning experience, equipping students with a deeper understanding of AI workflow automation and its transformative potential across industries.
