The Bengali Department of Bhawanipur Education Society College organized a Nature’s Camp from 6th February to 9th February at Mathaburu Range, Purulia. The camp aimed to provide students with an immersive experience in nature while exploring the local culture, food, and demography of the region. A total of 15 students and one faculty member (Dr. Mili Samaddar) participated in this enriching expedition. Activities Conducted Throughout the four-day camp, participants engaged in various activities that fostered both academic and personal growth.







Experience and Learning The Nature’s Camp offered students an opportunity to step out of their urban environment and connect with nature and local communities. The experience was both educational and adventurous, fostering a deeper understanding of environmental conservation and rural life. The interactions with the local people provided valuable insights into their way of life, and the trekking activities instilled a sense of teamwork and endurance. Additionally, the challenges faced during the camp encouraged students to develop independence and adaptability, contributing to their overall self-development. Outcome The camp at Mathaburu Range, Purulia, was a memorable and insightful experience for all participants. It not only strengthened their connection with nature but also broadened their understanding of local cultures and demographics. The Bengali Department’s initiative was highly successful, and students expressed their enthusiasm for similar experiential learning programs in the future.
