Objective of the event: This academic trip is indispensable for the purpose of semester 3 tutorial, which is an essential component of Calcutta University Examinations.The trip was organised to enable the students to have a comprehensive understanding of proceedings of West Bengal legislative assembly.

Brief description of the event: The Department of Political Science organised an academic trip to West Bengal Legislative Assembly on 29th November,2024 for the students of Semester 3. A total of 37 students accompanied by 5 teachers visited the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. The students observed the proceedings and debate on the various issues in the assembly. They had also written a report on their visit on that day.

Outcome of the event: The academic trip was a huge success as students got a detailed idea about the proceedings of the state legislative assembly .
