The Department of Political Science organized a Award  Distribution Ceremony for the students of Semester VI to recognise their achievements in all types of academic and disciplinary activities during the semester on May 29, 2023, at Jubilee Hall. The proceedings of the prize distribution program were conducted by Amala Dhandhania, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science. She explained the parameters of the Academic and Disciplinary Measures observed throughout the semester, based on which the students were being felicitated. The event also noted how this endeavour has been successful in creating an environment of discipline and a zeal for learning that has, in turn, motivated students to perform better in academics. The prizes were awarded to the students by the Teacher-in-Charge, Dr. Subhabrata Ganguly, and the Vice Principal (Arts), Debjani Ganguly. The awards inter alia include:

2. Best Performance in Continuous Internal Assessment – Tej Pratap Singh Group D Group Representative – Sumit Yadav
3. Best Daily Class performance – Puja Ghosh Group F Group Representative – Shristi Gupta
4. Appreciation for Extracurricular activities – Richa Dutta Group A Group Representative – Bhagyashree Sharma Souparno Rakshit Group F Group Representative – Shristi Gupta
5. Best paper presentation in seminar Group F Group Representative – Shristi Gupta
6. Academic Quiz Winner – Group E Group Representative – Haram Feroz
7. Best Group – A Group Representative – Bhagyashree Sharma

The program ended with the Teacher-in-Charge, Dr. Subhabrata Ganguly congratulating the Department for this novel initiative. The Vice Principal also applauded the Department for this praiseworthy measure.
