Objective of the Event:
  • To commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose through an alternative narrative format.
  • To introduce students to audio storytelling as an emerging journalistic form.
  • To encourage engagement with history beyond conventional event-centric programmes.
  • To promote innovative and experiential learning practices.
  Audio Story Presentation – Netaji: The Inner Revolution Brief Description of the Event: The Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Bhawanipur Education Society College, presented an audio story titled Netaji: The Inner Revolution on 23 January 2026, marking the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The presentation focused on the ideological, emotional, and philosophical dimensions of Netaji’s revolutionary life, moving beyond traditional historical narration. Through the medium of audio storytelling, the programme highlighted how sound and narration can effectively engage and capture the attention of the audience. The production was created exclusively for academic and instructional purposes. Faculty members and students worked collaboratively in producing it. The entire concept and editing were undertaken by Mr. Sayan Srkhel. Faculty members Dr. Kapil Kumar Bhattacharyya and Mr. Aniket Bardhan, along with Semester III student Enrique James Ringrow, provided the voice-over, while Divyesh Bagrodia, another Semester III student, composed the background score. Outcome of the Event:
  • Students gained exposure to narrative and audio storytelling techniques.
  • Enhanced understanding of interpretative approaches to history.
  • Encouraged creative thinking and interdisciplinary learning.
  • Strengthened the student–teacher collaborative relationship.
